WHITSTABLE PRODUCE STORE’S KENTINENTAL IS NOW AN OFFICIAL “KENT BREAKFAST”
Whitstable Produce Store’s “Kentinental” breakfast is a Continental breakfast with a twist – as far as possible it’s locally sourced. Now it has been accredited by Visit Kent for being over 60% sourced in Kent and is an official Kent Breakfast.
Virginies of Whitstable make the Kentinental’s brioches (as well as a range of cakes and quiches for the Produce Store); The Flour Arranger (Sturry) makes croissants and pains au chocolat); Jemima’s Kitchen (Chartham Hatch) provides the jams and The Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee Company (Pluckley) provide locally blended teas and locally roasted coffee. As a fully equipped juice bar the Store serves its own freshly-pressed juice.
The “Kentinental” name was invented by a regular customer who celebrated the Kent Breakfast accreditation with a complementary Kentinental at the Produce Store.
