WELCOME TO HUSH HEATH ESTATE – HOME TO BALFOUR BRUT ROSÉ

Visit Hush Heath in Kent or at events around the south-east

vineyardHush Heath Estate is home to Balfour Brut Rosé, awarded multiple international awards over the years and 18/20 on JancisRobinson.com.

Since the first vines were planted at Hush Heath in 2002, the Estate has grown its product range substantially and now boasts an exquisite selection of wines and ciders all produced from fruit grown in 400 acres of immaculate vineyards, apple orchards and ancient oak woodlands rich with wildlife, flora and fauna.  Expert winemakers combine their skills in the state of the art winery, working alongside the Cellar Door team to welcome visitors and share the passion of Hush Heath Estate.

Hush Heath Winery Manager, Sarah Easton, comments:

“It’s our team’s enthusiasm for what we do that makes us very special. What started as a hobby for entrepreneur Richard Balfour-Lynn is now a quickly expanding family based wine and cider business.  Every day we enjoy welcoming lovers of wine, cider and the English countryside to visit our Estate or to join us at seasonal events around the UK and share our passion.”

Hush Heath is hosting free tours on 18 September and 16 October.  These will start at 11am and last for 2.5 hours with a guided tour of the Estate and winery followed by a tutored tasting.  Booking for the tours is required by calling 01622 832794 to speak with a member of the Cellar Door team.

Hush Heath Estate is joining the Honnington County Fair (4 September) to support the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance at this worthy charity fun day.  Hush Heath’s premium wines and ciders can be enjoyed alongside quality local catering such as a hog roast and butchers BBQ, Fish ‘n chips, crepes and oven-baked pizza.

The Hush Heath team will then attend the Pantiles Food Festival (9-11 September), reviving the tradition of an open air market in an attractive pedestrianised area surrounded by shops, cafes and eateries.

On the same dates more of the Hush Heath team will visit the Leeds Castle Food Festival (9-11 June) for the annual event held in magnificent grounds.  Hush Heath will be one of over 50 local food and drink producers of fresh, regional produce – from hand crafted English food and drink to plenty of world flavours including Italian and Spanish tapas, Vietnamese cuisine, Indian street food and more.

Throughout the late summer and early autumn months Hush Heath will be showcasing English wines and Kentish ciders at other events that celebrate the very best of luxury food and drink and entertainment.
