Accounts Administrator – Maternity Cover (1 year)
We are a young, vibrant company with two leading food brands in the South East’s food and drink industry – Kent Crisps and Kentish Oils. We are looking for a Management Accountant, who will enjoy working in our highly motivated, close knit team for one year’s maternity cover contract.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Production of monthly management accounts, including posting of accruals and prepayments, as well as reviewing departmental profitability
Tracking of monthly sales figures against budget and reporting to team throughout month to ensure targets are met
Monitor weekly cash flow of business
Responsible for sales ledger and sending out daily invoices to customers
Managing credit control of business and ensuring that all customers pay within their agreed terms
Responsible for purchase ledger – posting of all supplier invoices and managing supplier payment runs
Posting of all bank transactions and monthly bank reconciliations
Running of company’s weekly and monthly payroll
Quarterly VAT Return and EC Sales Return
Main point of contact for annual accounts with external accountants
SKILLS REQUIRED
Strong understanding and experience of all aspects of book-keeping
Part qualified CIMA / ACCA / qualified by experience
Organised with strong attention to detail
Good commercial awareness
Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookups)
Ability to multi-task and have a flexible approach
