Bridge Haven care home recently had a visit from the charity, R.U.G Ukulele Group to play
for all the residents.
Nicola Linstead, Activities Coordinator, said; ‘I know when you say Ukulele, you think of George Formby!! …. But, it was nothing like that, they played and sang a wide variety of songs that all the residents, families and staff sang and clapped along to. ‘
After they had finished, the players spent time chatting to some of the residents, who all gave them very good feedback on their performance and a round of applause.
