‘Tis the season to eat Solley’s…

Solley's Christmas PuddingKent ice cream producer Solley’s festive Cool Yule range is going down a storm across the county. The family-run dairy, based at Ripple, near Deal, has produced three mouth-watering flavours packed full of seasonal tastes and textures: Kentish Cobnut Brittle and Toffee, Kentish Cherry Brandy and Christmas Pudding. The Cool Yule range is designed for cafés, pubs, restaurants, farm shops and other food retailers looking to add something a little different to their menu during the Christmas season.

The Kentish Cherry Brandy ice cream contains the flavour of a classic local spirit that dates back to the 1700s. The Kentish Cobnut Brittle and Toffee ice cream is made with Cobnut Brittle from Cranbrook-based confectioner, O’er the Moon. The flavour debuted at this year’s Kent County Show, and was such a hit that Solley’s decided to add it to the festive range.

Keith Morrison, general manager of Solley’s, said: “Ice cream isn’t just a summer treat – it’s the perfect all-year-round dessert. Our delicious Cool Yule range reflects our Kentish heritage, with flavours designed to please customers who want to round off their festive meal with something a bit different.”

Perfect as a dessert or accompaniment, Solley’s Cool Yule range is available in 4.75 litre Napoli packs for scooping, and in 500ml and 1 litre tubs for retail. For more information or to order, visit www.solleysicecream.co.uk or call 01304 374100.
