Robin & Carla together with David Austin-White Want to Make a Difference
Robin, Carla & David are running the London Marathon 2016 in memory of David Austin-White’s daughter that sadly died from Cystic Fibrosis. Below are a few words from David:
“After the death of my beautiful daughter Lucy at the age of 12, 13 years ago to Cystic Fibrosis I could not and still can’t believe the pain and mental scars such a devastating event leaves behind. I realised very quickly a strong, independent support network is imperative sometimes outside the family to help parents like me to gain some sort of focus to claim back a little normality into their lives. There will always be that dark corner where ones scared to look, it never goes, but with the support of The Child Bereavement UK and their trained volunteers and support staff, life is a little more bearable…..Thank you, thank you so much for helping me to live my life and embrace the fantastic memories of my beautiful daughter.”
