After a very successful inaugural show at the Canterbury Food Festival in September, Kent Dark Chocolate has started to appear in shops around the county. Their website has gone live with an online shop both for consumers and trade customers to follow soon. The story of the Kent Dark Chocolate Company started with a simple but revolutionary idea – to create a simple chocolate that can stand shoulder to shoulder with the other great foods of Kent. Most chocolate companies buy in readymade chocolate, but Kent Dark Chocolate is manufactured in Kent, and the purity of its ingredients and its incredible taste and aroma is all down to their expertise in making chocolate. The company is committed to supporting the local community and charities, including Kent Search and Rescue, Headway East Kent and Last Chance Animal Rescue Because of its successful launch, the company is now looking to take on extra staff in the New Year.
