To this day our small team has stayed true to the essence of why the company was created 40 years ago: the desire to produce a unique range of traditional and contemporary preserves using natural ingredients.
Small batch production gives us flexibility resulting in a range of truly distinctive and varied market-leading preserves. They are both ‘every day’ and for special occasions, ranging from the humble English Breakfast marmalade to the sumptuous bottled fruits.
The latest additions to celebrate our anniversary is Passionfruit curd, Acacia honey with cut comb, traditional sweet and chunky Piccalilli, pickled walnuts in spiced vinegar and Kentish quince jelly. Most of these are so precious that they may not be available all year around!
Based in a converted Oast House – the traditional Kentish hop drying kiln – we combine artisan skills of small batch production and specialist hand-labelling with a significant array of support machinery and equipment. Our premises include a small factory shop with a viewing gallery overlooking the production area.
