Solley’s Kentish Ice Cream celebrates 30th anniversary with new flavours and fresh look
Kent ice cream producer Solley’s has unveiled three new flavours for its 30th anniversary, as well as fresh new packaging across the whole range.
To mark three decades of producing real dairy ice cream at its farm on the Kent coast, the family-run company has launched Salted Caramel & Fudge, Liquorice & Blackcurrant and Lemon ice creams in a range of sizes.
These new flavours will join the core range of 14 delicious ice creams, which includes favourites such as Traditional Vanilla, Kentish Honey & Honeycomb and Sweet Black Cherry. Due to popular demand, the company has also launched Solley’s Sorbets; three mouth-watering fruity iced treats in Lemon, Mango and Blackcurrant flavours.
Keith Morrison, Solley’s general manager, said: “Thirty years of producing indulgent Kentish ice cream is a huge achievement, and one definitely worth celebrating. We take pride in the quality of our product and its provenance, and we hope our customers love the new flavours as much as we do.
“Recent innovations in our production and packaging methods have also allowed us to restructure pricing across the whole product range, so we can now offer improved value for consumers and even bigger profit margins for our trade customers.”
The whole Solley’s range is now available in 500ml and 1 litre tubs, and 4.75 litre Napoli packs for scooping. Selected flavours are also available in 120ml cups, ideal for theatres, events and convenience stores.
Solley’s is the only Kent ice cream producer to carry the Red Tractor logo, confirming its farm assured credentials. Over 85 per cent of base products are sourced from within the county and all milk and cream comes from a ChannelIsland herd on a neighbouring farm.
Solley’s Kentish Ice Cream supplies a host of businesses including farm shops and delis, theatres, restaurants, kiosks, attractions, independent supermarkets and international airlines. For more information, prices or to order direct, visit www.solleysicecream.co.uk or call 01304 374100.
