Moor Organics Ltd, a fruit grower and award winning juice producer, is looking for an experienced and driven sales person to join their team. This position would suit an individual who is passionate and enthusiastic about local produce, with the confidence to organise their own work schedule and targets. The position would also require some basic marketing and administrative tasks.
The hours are flexible and can be part time or full time. There is the opportunity for occasional weekend work at local events although this is not essential. Situated on Nichol Farm in Teynham, in an area renowned for its orchards, the office is in a lovely location.
In summary the position will involve the following:
- Bringing in new business, predominantly in Kent and neighbouring counties.
- Maintaining relationships with existing customers.
- Processing orders, preparing delivery notes and invoices.
- Delivering goods to local customers
- Preparing orders for mailing or distribution
- Basic marketing tasks using social media
The skills required for the position are as follows:
- Excellent communication skills both in person and on the telephone
- Good Microsoft office skills.
- “Key Accounts” (farm accounts package) experience would be preferable but not essential as training can be given.
- Full clean driving licence – a vehicle will be provided for deliveries & sales visits.
