This Sunday (20th) Rochester Farmers’ Market will be celebrating its 15th Birthday and a new location in Blue Boar Lane Car Park from 9am to 1pm.
To help us join in the celebrations there will be cookery demos, singers and an arts and crafts area for the children. In addition we will be giving away hessian green carrier bags to our most loyal customers whom have supported us through those years. We have even managed to get two of the producers to attend whom were at the very first market all those years ago.
We can confirm now that we are the first (not only in the county) but the country to be a Dementia Friendly Farmers market.Several of us including the producers committed their time for training and we are now confident we are able to assist and look out for particular signs for those people living with Dementia.
Here’s to the next 15 years!!!
