Richard Phillips Partnership – Creating a Benchmark for Hospitality Excellence

Richard in the kitchenWith much talk of the acute skills shortage in the Hospitality industry, celebrity chef and Michelin star restaurant owner Richard Phillips is proud to announce the pre-launch of the Richard Phillips Partnership (RPP) a partnership network which will create and encourage excellence in staff training and service across front and back of house. (Official Launch July 2015)

RPP will provide a unique network that offer exemplary hospitality training placements and where we will work with the very best chefs, restaurants and hotels across the county. Candidates will have the choice of 3 Richard Phillips venues for training and placement in addition to a number of other equally highly reputable partner properties across the region. The unique RPP training and mentoring programmes will be aimed at existing staff and young people seeking apprenticeships.

With our main training delivery partner – HIT Training – we have developed a bespoke 1-3 year onsite training and mentoring programme. Consistent Tutor-lead education will be given at each of our partner sites and regularly assessed complimented with additional on and offline training modules.

We aim to establish an outstanding culture of excellence for the industry and create a unique network of dedicated RPP partners who all have the same end goal – to provide the highest standard of training in our region and achieve nationally recognised qualifications. Moving forward this will enable us to develop a talent pool of exceptional staff for our partners

Planning for this partnership began in January in 2015 and is headed up by Celebrity Chef Richard Phillips, Lisajane Davies, Gary Beech and supported by Zena Cooper of HIT Training.
