Our first lager – “Pruessen Pilsner” was released in May and has proved incredibly popular. It was named after the largest full-rigged steel sailing ship ever to be built without an auxiliary engine which ran aground near Dover. It is a true German Pilsner, made with English Barley, three hop varieties and genuine Pilsner yeast.
The summer is looking very busy with events – we will be having a stand at the Folk & Ale festival in Sandwich as well as The Sandwich Prom at the Salutation Gardens in aid of the Martha Trust. We have also entered several of our ales and our new pilsner in the Siba South East competition taking place in July.
Our summer ale “Red Raddle”(abv 5%) is available to all pubs from June to September and also in bottles.
