An apple juice from Kent has won the 2018 National Apple Juice Competition at the National Fruit Show. Owlet picked up 2 firsts and a second, giving it the highest aggregate marks across all categories. Its Rhubarb, Apple and Strawberry won the coveted Amos Trophy and was declared Best all-round entry.
Its Cox & Bramley won first in the Blended Apple Category, whilst Rhubarb, Apple and Strawberry was overall winner in the Blended Fruit Class. The Apple & Elderflower from Owlet was placed second.
Prizes will be presented in October, at the National Fruit Show, which this year celebrates its 85th anniversary, at the Kent County Showground Detling.
