The shortlist for the 2016 FreeFrom Food Awards – celebrating the best in gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free and all ‘freefrom’ foods – is now out and Oast to Host have been shortlisted for their new Quiche on the Go – Quongo !
After two weeks of heavy-duty tasting and arguing the merits of gluten and dairy-free sausage rolls over raw spirulina nibs, the FreeFrom Food Awards judges have chosen nearly 260 products to shortlist.
’Excitingly, the quality and originality of the entries continues to improve each year ‘ says Michelle Berriedale-Johnson, director of the FreeFrom Awards who chairs the judging sessions, ‘which makes it ever more difficult for our 70 judges to choose the winners. But, after some intense discussions, they have!’
