Curd & Cure – New Brand Identity for Cheeseworks

Friday 22nd April saw the launch of Curd & Cure – the new brand identity of Cheeseworks. This is the latest evolution of this family business founded in 1988 by the Stimson family and reflects the growth of both their product range and their customer base. Having supplied more than just cheese for many years, the time is right to change the company name.

The new brand identity will provide retailers & foodservice with a consistent range of products and allows the business to focus on its different customer’s needs. The event saw customers & suppliers join the team at Frankie’s Farm Shop in Staplehurst, Kent for a Kent sparkling wine (Chapel Down) reception, presentation and local food tastings.

Stuart Grant, partner said “We are delighted to be sharing our continued success with our dedicated team, as well as our suppliers and customers. Our new identity is an important step forward as we continue to grow our business, supporting local producers and retailers and giving customers access to great quality products”

“It’s great to see so many local businesses working together, many of them members of Produced in Kent. We produce so many great products but that’s no good unless the customer can access them readily – that’s where Curd & Cure come in. They are a valuable part of the local food supply chain” said Jill Sargent from local trade organisation Produced in Kent.

Curd & Cure (Corp)The new brand will also be used on the range of cooked meats and deli products. The purpose built cutting facility allows the team in Cranbrook to provide whatever their customers need: be it portion, slice, dice, grate, or shave! The business currently occupies 3,000sq feet of space and currently has 19 people within the team, all focussed on providing high quality products and great customer service. They are now in discussions about further expansion to a new 6,000 square feet home which will also increase employment opportunities.

Products are sourced from a wide range of artisan producers including many local producers many of whom attended the launch.

“It was a pleasure to attend the Curd & Cure rebrand party, we are delighted to supply a company that has such high regard for championing quality local products as well having such strong relationships with their customers.” Laura Bounds – Kent Crisps
