Following on from the success of last year’s event, Meet The Brewers is back at Macknade Fine Foods on Friday the 14th of October 2016.
Guests are invited to an evening in-store to meet a handful of exceptional breweries, learn about the brewing process and sample & compare the beers on offer. The shop will be open until 8.30pm and there will be plenty of food samples to try across the store.
All of the beers available to taste on the night will be offered with a 15% discount when purchasing a full case. There will also be a 15% discount on mixed cases of 12, so you can mix & match your favourite beers from those you try.
There are currently nine breweries lined up to attend, including Hopdaemon, Gadds & Romney Marsh Brewery, with more to be confirmed ahead of the event. Boutilliers, who brew seasonal beers on-site at Macknade, will also be throwing open the doors to the brewery for guests to see behind the scenes.
Ellie Gann, Drinks Buyer at Macknade, commented, “We had such good feedback from last year’s event and are really looking forward to doing it all again… but making it even better. We’ve got some fantastic & innovative local breweries joining us on the evening and more to be confirmed in the next few weeks. It’s also particularly exciting as Boutilliers are up & running in our Hop Shed this year and have been producing some interesting, modern beers, which will be a real highlight of the night!”
