Here at Romney Marsh Wools we are very pleased to have finished our lambing season, which is always enjoyable but very hard work! This year’s lambing season seemed to last for a very long time, beginning early in February and only finishing in early May! We were blessed with good weather, well-behaved ewes and lots of happy and healthy lambs which is always a relief. We can now begin to look forward to shearing; another busy but exciting time for us. With over 1,000 ewes plus lambs to shear this can be a marathon task and is often made even longer by poor weather, so fingers crossed that the sunshine holds out!
