Thursday the 24th of October saw the Grand Opening of the new Karimix site; 12000 sq
feet, purpose-built factory based in Selling near Canterbury. The PinK team’s on-going support is very much appreciated and Stephanie Durling’s speech contributed to the opening with a mention in our partnership as well as the Karimix journey to-date.
We are honoured by the attendance of many; customers, suppliers, friends and neighbours. This reception was to introduce the new Karimix with the highlight of an array of scrummy food served. The menu was specially put together from a selection of our best selling Karimix range.
These showcase dishes were Thai Green Chicken Curry using Karimix Thai Green Curry Paste, Chickpea & Vegetable Laksa Curry using Karimix Laksa Curry Paste and Karimix Tomato Chutney, Chicken Satay using Karimix Special Edition Satay Sauce, King Prawns with Karimix Sweet Chilli sauce, Salmon with Karimix award-wining Teriyaki Orange Sauce accompanied by crispy risotto squares using Karimix Shrimp Relish and Asian Slaw with Karimix Citrus Lemongrass Sauce. The Art of Creative Cooking made simple was enjoyed by all.
For those who are not familiar with Karimix, we are a Kent based manufacturer of Chutneys, Pickles, Curry Pastes, Asian and Fusian Sauces and Chilli Jams and Sauces to both the retail and foodservice industry. Our speciality is in Product development and complex recipe production.
The company began in 1984, and has gone from strength to strength, with Monica Chia acquiring full ownership in 2005. Since then, it has been moved through 4 locations, re branded 3 times, and had its product library extended ten fold and more.
Today, it is noticeable by its striking ‘K’ logo, which encapsulates the vibrancy and uniqueness of the company and its products. With a range of 65 retail products and counting, this really is the opportunity to unlock fusion flavours from all around the world.
