After many trials of various products we are proud to announce that all of our salad leaf products from now on will come in a 100% home compostable plant based bags. We will also collect the bags back from our customers to compost them ourselves in our compost piles. The bags break down into water and CO2, and are also GM free. We made the decision back in the beginning of 2018 to further reduce our environmental impact and move towards working with companies who also want to do the same. 2019 is going to an exciting year knowing that none of our packaging can cause environmental issues at the end of its life if it escapes the recycling systems we currently have in place. Other national veg box companies have pledged to do the same before 2020, but we couldn’t wait that long.
