The Bakehouse is set in a Grade 2* listed building based at the North end of Tonbridge High Street. It is a the second oldest building in Tonbridge dating back to the 1430s.
Our vision is to restore the recently discovered boxed awnings – the mechanisms, fittings and materials are all in need of sympathetic restoration. By restoring these it would then allow us to create a more enjoyable outside space for customers and the local community to appreciate and aid the regeneration of the High Street.
