The industrial method for making bacon takes hours… First the pork is injected with brine, then it’s placed in a tumbler for up to two hours. After that it’s frozen for slicing: with that extra water, it couldn’t be sliced without freezing. Fresh pork turns into bacon in as little as two hours!

Proper bacon is from free-range pigs, which is slowly cured and air dried, it will go further and needless to say will taste a hell of a lot better. So when you get the real deal, you should act responsibly, enjoy it and spread the word so that others can appreciate it!
