Goddard’s 125 year celebration

125 yearsDuring October 2015 Goddard’s will be celebrating 125 years of producing and selling our
handmade pies.

We have been making and selling pie and mash in London since 1890, originally in
Deptford and then in Greenwich. Today, we continue to have a thriving pie and mash
restaurant in Greenwich Town Centre as well as a growing wholesale business. Still family owned and run.

To celebrate we will be providing some exciting events that customers can take part in and
celebrate with us.

These will start on Monday 5th October 2015 and end on Friday 9th October 2015.

  1. Between Monday 5th October 2015 and Friday 9th October 2015 all customers purchasing a meal will receive a free cup of tea.
  2. We will be decorating the outside of our restaurant with flags and banners. Everyone that takes a photo of themselves outside of our restaurant and then posts this onto our Facebook page will have a chance to win £125 in cash.

The winner will be picked on Monday 12th October and they will be able to collect their £125 and enjoy a free pie and mash meal from our Greenwich restaurant at the same time.

  3. For Wednesday 7th October 2015 only, we will be selling Traditional pie mash and liquor for only £1.25! We will be open from 10am until 7pm or until all of the pies have been sold if sooner. No other food menu items will be for sale this day.

We have traded in Deptford and Greenwich for 125 years and hope you will be able let your readers know of our celebration plans.
