GBBO Star To Host Charity Supperclub at Macknade Fine Foods
Chetna Makan, Kent resident and Great British Bake Off star, will be serving up a delicious three course meal in the café at Macknade Fine Foods on December 2nd.
Profits from all ticket sales go to the Friends of Faversham Cottage Hospital & Community Centres, whose volunteers work tirelessly to support staff & patients in Faversham.
All guests will be welcomed with a glass of bubbly, followed by a three course meal made using ingredients from Macknade, and there will be a bar with drinks available to purchase on the night.
Chetna took part in the fifth series of the Great British Bake Off in 2014, making it all the way to the semi-finals. As well as being an exceptional baker, Chetna is an extremely passionate cook and has just published her own recipe book, The Cardamon Trail.
Finn Dunlop, General Manager at Macknade Fine Foods, commented ‘We are very much looking forward to welcoming Chetna to Macknade and seeing her bring our ingredients to life on the menu. The Friends of the Cottage Hospital play a vital role in our local community and we are delighted to be supporting them with the event.”
