There are Chilli Festivals and there are Chilli Festivals and we’ve been to more than one or two where we’ve struggled to find a fresh Chilli – let alone a Chilli Plant!
At Victoriana our Chilli Fest is just a little bit different – it’s all about the Chilli! And for 2016 it gets bigger yet again.
With well over 150 varieties of freshly harvested Chillies to taste, and the growing plants from which they were harvested to see, the centrepiece of our Chilli Fest truly is the Chilli!
For those wanting to take part in Chilli tasting we will again be asking for a token donation of £1 to the very worthy Mission For Seafarers – so if you manage all the 150+ varieties we will have on taste that’s less than 1p a variety!
Along with Chilli tasting we will be selling fresh Chilli Fruits as well as Chill Seeds for sowing and growing your own – what better way to make your selection than trying before you buy?
There will also be many stalls selling sauces, chutneys, and jams – as well as foods to eat on the day from Goat Curry to Chilli Candyfloss to Chilli Coffee. Couple that with a range of arts and craft stalls (all who sell at least one Chilli themed craft item) and you have the perfect event for the lover of all things Chilli!
