Head Housekeeper
Salary: £16,320 (£20,400 FTE)
Hours: 30 hrs/wk
We are looking for a brilliant Head Housekeeper to come and lead our housekeeping team. You’ll need to be friendly, efficient and have excellent attention to detail and high standards when it comes to presentation and cleanliness! The housekeeping team is responsible for keeping our historic short-stay venue, modern education facilities and offices spick and span. Duties will include hands-on housekeeping, hosting guests and supporting the kitchen team, as well as some admin work to ensure stock levels are maintained and rotas are ready for the team. You will need to be flexible and able to work evenings and weekends when required.
Training will be provided. Previous experience is preferable.

Housekeepers
Pay: £8.50-£9.31 per hour
Hours: various positions, 10-30 hrs/wk
We have a number of positions available, working 10-30 hours per week. We are looking for Housekeepers to join our fantastic team delivering exceptional levels of cleanliness and service to guests using our venue. The housekeeping team has a diverse role housekeeping and cleaning, as well as providing hosting and catering support. We are looking for reliable team players with high standards and excellent attention to detail, as well as a can-do attitude. Good communication skills and a flexible approach are essential, as is a level of overall fitness.
We are a flexible and family-friendly employer and offer a terrific work environment amongst a fantastic team of people. Where possible, shifts can be arranged to accommodate regular commitments, such as school drop-off and pick-up times.

Cleaner
Pay: £8.50 per hour
Hours: 10 hrs/wk
We are looking for a cleaner to maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and presentation in our offices and educational facilities. The facilities are used by school groups during the day, so cleaning is required early morning or early evening, and shifts can be arranged to suit your needs.

Hospitality/Catering Internship (12 months)
Salary: up to £7,675
Hours: 35 hrs/wk
We are excited to offer a 12 month paid internship programme to a young person looking to start their catering or hospitality career. During the programme, you’ll gain valuable experience and a set of skills preparing you for the next step in your career. The internship hours are split into two parts: 20hrs/wk will be spent gaining hands-on experience within our venue and housekeeping team and 15hrs/wk will be dedicated to catering training in our kitchen, and working alongside our Venue Manager learning about the inside workings of our environmentally conscious venue, which focuses on food, farming and sustainability. Minimum Level 2 qualification required.

Hours: 35 hrs/wk
We are excited to offer a 12 month paid internship programme to a young person looking to start their career in Environmental Education/Management. We are looking for someone friendly and personable, who has a genuine interest in developing a career in environmental education.
The programme will set you up with a set of skills and a wealth of experience, preparing you for the next step in your career. The internship hours are split into two parts: 20hrs/wk will be spent working in our venue and housekeeping team, gaining hands-on experience and learning the basics of running a venue. 15hrs/wk will be spent training in our environmental education team, working alongside our Education Coordinator and Director, learning about the inside workings of an organisation committed to inspiring young people about nature, food, farming and sustainability. A degree or equivalent would be desirable, but is not essential.

Volunteer Market Gardener
Salary: voluntary position
Hours: 2 days per week; approx. 6 hours per day
We are looking for someone with enthusiasm and experience in fruit and vegetable growing to join our friendly and dedicated team. Working alongside our Market Gardener, you will need to be available to volunteer regularly and have experience of planting, growing and harvesting crops.

Volunteer Kitchen Assistant
Salary: voluntary position
Hours: flexible
Are you interested in local, seasonal and organic food? Are you a keen cook looking to improve your skills or someone wanting to boost their kitchen confidence? The role is to assist in preparing, cooking and serving a range of foods and meals and will include full training and the chance to experience and learn with our Head Chef using carefully sourced ingredients from onsite and the surrounding locality.
