It’s been a very busy year so far, at Stephens. The acquisition of another unit, and the extensive fit-out, has been completed ahead of schedule. At time of writing, they are unable to move in properly, as BT have yet to connect a phone line !
Good weather is a bonus for Stephens. Deli and charcuterie sales boom, and they have been kept very busy cooking, and supplying. We are excited about a forthcoming brochure that they are putting together, with Jill’s encouragement the help of the Kent Messenger, Steve Leadbitter, the company chairman, met up with the KM guys at the Pink Taste of Kent awards, and after a meeting with the editorial staff, the KM convinced him that there is a story to tell. However, Steve says he will not be describing his business success as a ‘journey’ though.
Stephens are keen to work with other Pink members, in September, they are launching an on line business, and cash and carry, from their new unit. They ask that other producer members, look at
