Brogdale Collections opens for a season of orchard tours, festivals and discovery at the home of the national Fruit Collection.
Brogdale Collections set in over 150 acres of farmland with over 4000 varieties of fruit tree from apples, pears, quinces and plums to cherries and more. The Collections orchards are a living history & heritage of fruit waiting to be discovered. Coming soon for 2017 a new educational bestie bug garden and weather station. The orchards are blooming in April which is a sight not to be missed.
The orchards are open 7 days a week, throughout the open season from April to October.
Guided Walking Tours run at 11am, 1pm and 2:30pm – 7 days a week (not applicable on festival and event days) and there is no need to book, just turn up in enough time to purchase your ticket and join a tour.
Self Guided Walks can be taken at any time between 10am and 4pm and require an orchard pass that can be purchased from our gift shop on arrival where you can also pick a map guide.

Take a ride on the tractor trailer, explore the orchards and find all the giant Easter egg on the Easter egg trail or ride on the magical miniature railway through the blossoming orchards.
Make & decorate your own Easter bunny mask and Easter basket, have a go at archery and discover the birds of prey and their fascinating display.

Hanami Picnic Experiance & Blossom tour From April – May 2017
Hanami is the Japanese festival dedicated to cherry blossom (sakura) and is celebrated across Japan every year. Brogdale is one of the only places in the UK to celebrate Hanami and with the largest collection of fruit trees in the world, we really do have a sight to see!
Celebrate in Japanese style by enjoying our Hanami exhibition and a tour of our beautiful orchards in blossom before relaxing with a picnic under the most beautiful trees in the orchards!
