SaveChildre.TMH.nov.16.LRes-5Following a three-week exhibition at The Milk House, the event on Thursday evening was attended by 130 guests. Alongside opportunities to chat to the artists and learn more about the important work of Save the Children, guests were served scrumptious canapés and tasty bowl food from The Milk House kitchen, and brilliant bubbles from Chapel Down vineyard.
The event was also sponsored by sound and lighting company Big Fish SRL, estate agent Harpers & Hurlingham, The Hop Press, Jascots wine merchant and The Carriage hairdressers. With this support, the entire auction proceeds are able to go to Save the Children.
Rozie Dell, Save the Children’s South East Community Volunteering Manager said: “It’s fantastic that so many artists, sponsors and bidders have given so generously, allowing us to raise vital funds for our work with children in the UK and around the world. The £15,500 raised during the evening will help Save the Children fulfil their ambitious goal of reaching every last child, and I’d like to express my personal thanks to everyone who helped us reach this fantastic total.”
