Set in the heart of the picturesque Kentish countryside and surrounded by beautiful woodland, Acoustics in the Wood is the brand new music festival being launched for the very first time this year. With stunning acoustic performances by local bands in an intimate and scenic setting, this unique festival has a distinctly bohemian feel to it and is being held right on your doorstep. Bringing the fun to music lovers everywhere, this is set to be the freshest local music event of 2014.
In keeping with its bohemian vibe, Acoustics in the Wood is taking place here at the Rare Breeds Centre in our commemorative Rainbow Wood on the 13th September. Made up of 10,000 trees, each planted to mark a special occasion, this is the perfect venue for getting back to nature and dancing the night away under the stars.
Celebrating local talent, Acoustics in the Wood will showcase performances from some of the most exciting bands and singers in Kent and we are thrilled to announce that our headline acts are Coco and the Butterfields and the Van Susans! In addition to these well known bands, there will also be performances by a host of solo singers and the entire event will be spread across two stages.
Tickets to this exclusive event are priced at an incredible £15, the proceeds of which will enable us to continue supporting adults with learning disabilities throughout Kent and East Sussex. Helping to raise money for a great cause is just one more additional bonus to attending and we’ve kept ticket prices affordable so your bank balance doesn’t take too much of a hit. With the doors opening at 5pm and the music carrying on until 11pm, Acoustics in the Wood is a great night out with your mates and families are also welcome to join in the fun too.
Whether you want to dance the night away, kick back on straw bales, or sample some local culinary delights, Acoustics in the Wood has it all. So what are you waiting for? Embrace your inner free spirit and enjoy an unprecedented evening of live entertainment.
