Anno Distillers Limited is the first distillery in Kent for over 200 years. We produce a range of multi-award winning spirits, which have gained both national and international recognition for their quality. We are particularly proud of winning a Gold Medal with Anno Kent Dry Gin at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Based in the village of Marden, we lovingly distil our gins, vodkas and whisky in our 300-litre copper-pot still, affectionately name ‘Patience’. Since the launch of our first product, Anno Kent Dry Gin, in 2013 sales have increased significantly year on year. We are further expanding our production team and now seek an outstanding individual to train in all aspects of the manufacture and distribution of our product range.
DESCRIPTION OF VACANCY:
This exciting and varied role is to assist the distillery production and warehousing team in all aspects of distilling, packing and distributing our range of spirits to customers.
The nature of the business requires lifting heavy goods and due to alcohol licensing laws you must be 18 or over at the time of appointment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accepting incoming goods
Stock control and reordering
Production scheduling
Distilling and blending spirits
Bottling and casing products
Stock auditing
Keeping accurate records
Dispatch of goods through couriers
General tidying of distillery production and storage areas
Being a flexible member of a small, dynamic and fun team
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Good at working in a team
Attention to detail/methodical
Good IT skills
Competent numeracy and literary skills
Awareness of Heath and Safety.
PERSONAL QUALITIES:
Team player
Enthusiastic
Physical fitness important due to manual elements of work.
A strong desire to learn and apply new skills
