Canterbury Ales Wife of BathThe Wife of Bath – a refreshing hoppy, golden ale produced by the Canterbury Ales was voted the winner of the ALE TRAIL at the recent Faversham Food Festival. Beer enthusiasts and festival visitors toured various Faversham venues and pubs sampling ales and voted for their favourite.

The Winning Wife of Bath’s Ale was featured at the popular Furlongs micropub.  The pub owner Andrew expressed his pleasure, “We are really chuffed that we were the pub serving this lovely ale. Congrats!”

On hearing that The Wife of Bath’s Ale was voted winner of the 2017 Ale Trail, Canterbury Ales’ Owner Martin Guy said “It’s a fantastic honour to be chosen by the public as the best beer of the festival.  We have been supplying Furlongs Ale House with our ales since they opened and are delighted that they chose The Wife of Bath as their entrant for this year’s Ale Trail.  Our brewer Rob grew up in Faversham so it’s a real win for local beer!”
