A Journey from Seed to Plate – Franchi Seeds of Italy Talk at Macknade Fine Foods
On 20th April 2017, Macknade Fine Foods will be joined by Paolo Arrigo of Franchi Seeds UK to discuss how to grow and eat the finest Italian produce.
The evening will begin at 6pm and guests will be greeted with a glass of prosecco followed by a 40-minute talk from Paolo and a question and answer session.
This event is for food-lovers and gardeners alike as Paolo Arrigo, cookbook author and UK founder of Seeds of Italy will be sharing his expertise on which seeds to grow and when, and how best to eat the fresh produce.
Paolo will give guests the chance to learn about and try Pesto Genevese, as he demonstrated how to make this classic Italian recipe from his childhood, using fresh basil.
After the talk, there will be an opportunity for exclusive shopping, with special discounts on Franchi Seeds’ packets for Macknade Fine Foods Community Cardholders.
