At Jack’s veg we are looking to expand our growing site to cope with growing demand for our produce from customers. We currently farm 1.5 acres on the outskirts of Whitstable and are looking to rent anywhere around the coast and centre of east Kent, from Sittingbourne, Faversham, Selling, Canterbury, Ashford to Dover and Thanet.
Because we farm mainly no dig and without heavy machinery we aren’t too fussy over soil type, we would however need to erect poly tunnels which we grow in all year around. Over the next few years we want to become registered organic and become a educational hub supporting and promoting sustainable Organic small scale farming. We are considering any sized piece of land, but between 2 and 5 acres would be ideal.
