Land agents BTF Partnership have been instructed to sell lathe Barn at Burmarsh on behalf of the current owners Diana and Denis Wimble. Press release is below. It is very much hoped that the new owners will in Mrs Wimble’s words ‘bring energy and youth’ to the business and continue what is a very successful operation. Mrs Wimble has been involved for 21 years and they have owned it for the last 16 years. They are now looking to semi retire as they are in their mid 60’s, although Mr Wimble will continue with his farm business and Mrs Wimble says ‘she would love to carry on cooking, but just not running the business full time.’ She would also love to spend more time with her children and grandchildren.
Mrs Wimble currently does all the cooking and will be cooking a staggering 2,000 christmas lunches between the end of November and 21 December.
