VACANCY: Production Supervisor, Swale

A new and exciting, rapidly expanding and innovative company is looking for a highly motivated, highly organised Production Supervisor to build and grow with the company.

Job Purpose-

Responsible for understanding, developing and implementing all BRC requirements, instituting methods, systems, procedures and documentation to achieve BRC accreditation within a 3-month time frame. To lead, manage and maximize the efficiency of the healthy snacks production and packing line focusing on leading the team, organising and implementing BRC, HACCP and Health & Safety as well as production plan to produce high quality, profitable foods.

Key Responsibilities-

– Developing, implementing and maintaining all BRC, HACCP and H&S requirements and compliance
-Hands on management of the production team to ensure the production schedule is completed on time.
– Ensure that the plant performs to maximum efficiency and agreed quality standards.
– Ensuring all documentation is up to date.
-Create and manage production plan and staffing requirements.
-Champion a culture of right first time, managing and implementing existing and new procedures for production to ensure food safety, quality and hygiene.
-Ensure that effective communication takes place with all colleagues.
-Lead and develop the team for high performance including, recruitment ,training, coaching, motivation and engagement.
-Attend daily review meeting held with cross functional attendance.

Experience –
– Food or FMCG production & packing background
– Knowledge of health and safety/food safety including BRC and HACCP
– Running a production team
– Knowledge of machine engineering is desirable

Experience and Qualifications:

-BRC, HACCP, Health & Safety food production and packing management

-Diploma/Certificate

Remuneration:

Based on 45 hours per week to include some night and weekend shift.

Salary £25k+ with a possibility of share options

21 days paid holiday
