Another award for Old Dairy Brewery

ODB_COPPERTOP_PUMPCLIP_AWThe Society of Independent Brewers hosted the National Beer Awards at their BeerX event in Sheffield.  The trade show and beer festival is the UK’s biggest craft brewing exhibition, with thousands of brewers, international buyers and beer drinkers attending throughout the week.

The small pack (bottle and can) Supreme Gold Winner was Old Dairy Brewery’s Dark Side of the Moo, brewer Glenn Whatmann said of the win:

‘I am just so shocked – I cannot believe we have won.  I know this is my favourite beer that we brew as its just so full bodied, full flavoured and a nice cross over between a stronger porter and a black IPA.  We take a rick dark beer and hop it really heavily – we love it and I am over the moon that the judges do to!’
