Farmers’ Market Manager – Maternity Cover (up to 12 months)
30 hours per fortnight (this includes 10 hours on site on market day)
£24,890 per annum pro rata

The Council is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced Manager to deliver and develop the fortnightly (Saturday) Farmers’ Markets in Royal Tunbridge Wells Town Centre.
Through delivering the Farmers’ Market, the Council aims to support local producers and provide the community with access to good quality food and other products. The Market is also seen as an important regular event to support retailers in the town centre. As such the role of Farmers Market Manager sits within the Council’s Economic Development Team.
The successful candidate will be experienced in managing markets or other similar events. Excellent communication skills and an understanding of health & safety issues relating to outdoor events is also essential.
