Due to sustained growth throughout 2015, Solley’s is looking to hire a Sales Executive to join their close-knit team. Solley’s Kentish Ice Cream is a family business based in Deal; making real dairy ice cream on the family farm, they have grown to become the largest independent producer of ice cream in the county.
Found throughout Kent and East Sussex in major tourist attractions, theatres, farmshops, delis, cafes, Solley’s Kentish Ice Cream is a brand synonymous with Kent. Due to expansion, they are seeking a sales executive to join the busy sales team to help achieve the company’s ambitious growth targets.
Becoming an integral member of the family-run business, you will be responsible for the prospecting and winning of new business throughout Kent and East Sussex, working closely with the Sales Manager to identify targets within defined areas.
A strong work ethic, resilience, flexibility and sense of fun are essential as no two days will be the same. Due to the nature of the role a valid and clean UK driving license is required.
Key responsibilities:
• Identifying prospects, negotiating and closing deals face to face
• Helping provide outstanding customer service to customers at all times
• Regular reports to Sales Manager on sales activity
• Regular ice cream sampling to ensure product knowledge up to date at all times!
