CELEBRATE KENT’S GREAT PRODUCERS WITH WHITSTABLE PRODUCE STORE 
ON THURSDAY 3 DECEMBER!
Whitstable Produce Store has an exciting week ahead – and we want to share it with you. Last summer, the Store was chosen as one of the “Small Business 100” – a hundred small businesses from across the UK selected to be the “face” of small business in the run-up to Small Business Saturday on 5 December. 5 December is also the Store’s second birthday – we opened on Small Business Saturday 2013.
Each of the 100 businesses is given one day when it is the focus of the Small Business Saturday campaign and our day is Thursday 3 December. We want to use it to promote the wonderful Kent food and drink businesses whose products we sell at the Store, including Produced in Kent members Little Stour Orchard, Dine Thyme, The Kent and Sussex Tea and Coffee Company, The Zingiberi Bakery, Kent Chilli Farm and Jack’s Veg. Yes, we’re in the Small Business 100, but we wouldn’t be there without all of them.
And we need your help. If you love Kent food and you’re on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram please join us on the day and tell us why small food producers matter to you. We’re Whitproduce on all three and the hashtag is #SmallBizSatUK to join the national conversation about great small businesses.
Then, on our birthday – Small Business Saturday – we’ll be announcing the
winner of our hamper competition. You’re very welcome to enter via social media or email (steve@whitstableproduce.co.uk) as long as you can come to the Store to collect the hamper. Just judge the scale of our loyalty cards jar from the photo and then guess the number of loyalty cards it contains.
It’s going to be a great couple of days for us – help us to make it great for Kent’s food producers too!
