Court Farm Butchery & Country Larder in Upper Halling, Kent www.courtfarm.org is looking for an apprentice to start as soon as possible.
This is a fully certified 2 year apprenticeship, at the end of which you will be a qualified butcher and also have skills in the traditional English art of pie making as well as other culinary products like pork scratchings and some deli items like fresh sausages made with our own meat.
You will be instructed by Mike Bergin who is a Master Butcher and work alongside other Master Butchers in our 15 year old farm shop in Upper Halling close to Rochester, with some additional experience at our butchery counter in Kelsey’s Farm Shop in Bexley-London as well as at farmers’ markets and external events like Ploughing Matches.
