From the 23rd – 25th of September, Macknade Fine Foods is hosting a Meet The Suppliers Week, giving customers the opportunity to sample food & drink from a selection of the fantastic producers Macknade works with.
A number of these suppliers are local favourites, including Ellie’s Dairy, Fudge Kitchen, AMC Foods & The Challock Chutney Company, but suppliers from further afield will also be taking part – including some that have never been in-store to host a tasting before.
Macknade run regular tastings with suppliers each weekend, but this is the first time so many suppliers will be in-store together during the week. Regular tastings were a key feature at Macknade’s pop-up store in Bluewater Shopping Centre and a real highlight of the experience there – something Macknade is keen to replicate in Faversham.
Finn Dunlop, General Manager at Macknade Fine Foods, commented, “An essential part of what we do here at Macknade is link up our producers and customers, so customers can learn more about who we work with and why we work with them. The Meet the Suppliers Week will give our customers the chance to meet and talk to over 15 of our suppliers, and perhaps most importantly, try some amazing food & drink…seeing for themselves why the produce is so special!”
