The White Cliffs Hotel was the perfect venue for The 2012 Ecommerce in Kent Award

The award for Kent’s best online shopping site was presented at The White Cliffs Hotel, St Margaret’s Bay near Dover on Friday 2nd November 2012.

The winning online shop this year was Bombus, www.bombus.co.uk, owned by Amelia Coward based in Faversham, Kent.  As well as the cut glass award Amelia wins a luxury two night stay for two at the Wallet’s Court Country House Hotel & Spa.

The final six nominations, as chosen by the public, were judged by a panel of independent business people Graham Seymour (Shopper Anonymous Sussex), Gulliver Immink (www.mytsafe.com), Jo Dodds (www.jododds.com), Hayden Sutherland (Ideal Interface), Simon Teague, (www.leadership-expert.co.uk) and Paul Andrews (www.jobsinkent.co.uk andwww.channelradio.co.uk).
Second place, as determined by the judges, was awarded to www.silksoundbooks.com and Claire Harrison was awarded 3rd place for her website www.thecocoamistress.com
In fourth place was www.ffx.co.uk, in fifth was www.beachchic.co.uk and in sixthwww.fentonsofkent.co.uk

The event and award were sponsored by The ICELAB Ltd, www.theicelab.co.uk , to celebrate their fifth anniversary and to promote their online shopping directory, www.iShopKent.co.uk .
