Dev Biswal was invited to cook live on stage at a special evening of cookery and conversation with the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby and hosted by the Rev Richard Coles (BBC R4’s Saturday Live).
This inspiring and entertaining event formed part of the Diocese of Canterbury’s festival of faith, The Gathering; a day of fascinating talks, creative activities, affirming worship and bible study, held within Canterbury Cathedral and its Precincts.
Inspired by the festival’s theme of food for the journey, Friday Night Kitchen highlighted food poverty, a subject that Dev has always felt passionate about.
Proceeds from the event go to support local food banks and The Community Chef.
