Award-winning chef Dev Biswal of The Ambrette in Margate, has appeared on the Channel 4 show Superscrimpers.
Dev appeared alongside journalist Mrs Moneypenny to serve up a gourmet family feast for just £20.
He cooked up a three course meal for eight people on a bargain budget and talked about buying local and seasonal produces from small traders and markets.

The executive chef said: “It was a marvellous experience – and teaching people how to cook a gourmet meal for 6 people for less than £20 was quite a challenge.
“Foraging for stinging nettles in the back garden helped keep the cost down”.
“It was great fun going out to food markets with a camera crew and talking to shoppers about their purchases and eating habits – people are very open to new ideas”.
The programme offers viewers top tips to cut the cost of living.
