The newest product grown in Kent and produced in Kent.
In 2011 we established 5 acres (2ha) of ARONIA BERRIES on our farm in North Kent and became the first commercial grower of Aronia Melanocarpa in England. Since that time we have nurtured the bushes and they have flourished allowing us to take the first crop in 2014. As no-one has ever tried to grow these plants in England this represented a major achievement for us.
We have now produced our first juice. To produce the juice it is cold pressed directly from the berries and then bottled. There are no additives of any kind or description; it is 100% pure Aronia Berry fruit juice. To stop fermentation the bottled juice is pasteurised and then capped.
The juice is presented in glass bottles containing 200ml with a long shelf life (12 months from bottling and drink within 3 days after opening). We suggest a daily intake of 100ml per person preferably taken in small quantities during the day.
The product is packed at the farm and posted from the farm; there are two options,
a) A pack of 5 bottles (weighs under 2kgs)
b) A pack of 40 bottles made up of 8 packs of 5 bottles. (16kgs)
The amazing properties of the berries are readily investigated on the internet and volume sales already exist in North America, Eastern Europe and within the EU, especially Poland and Germany.
