On Friday 30th January Becky is hosting a charity party at MU MU Bar & Club in Maidstone.
The event will be a private party for around 200 guests in aid of Breast Cancer Care and Cancer Research UK.
In 2014 Becky & team ran 12 marathons (all 26.2 miles) in a bid to raise £25,000. They successfully completed the final marathon on December 21st, having never really been a ‘runner’ it was an enormous achievement and Becky has taken so much from the experience and made so many precious memories with her mum, sister and partner.
Her motivation for running these marathons stems from her Mum ” My mum has secondary breast cancer, a terminal form of the illness. We aim to LIVE every day and I am hopeful that if I can continue to donate sums of money to cancer charities, we will find a cure for this illness in her lifetime. I want my mum to see me and my sister get married, meet her grandchildren and to do the simple things like have spa weekends and trips away together.”
