Since our successful launch day back in May our little shop has become a real community hub, we have been enjoying meeting all the locals from Mereworth and surrounding villages over a cup of coffee and delicious treat prepared for us by our Masterchef winning neighbour Julie Friend. Her Spinach and Feta rolls are a personal favourite!
We have very much enjoyed sourcing fabulous local gifts and treats from all the talented suppliers in Kent and hope to support as many as we can in the future. In the past few weeks we have been preparing for Christmas and have been putting together hampers and gift boxes, it seems all the locals are getting into the festive spirit early as they have been bringing along their unique handmade gifts for us to sell.
Our farm shop is family run and all the members of our family have been involved somewhere along the way, even the ones that come to visit get a job to do! We have also rehomed several animals to join us including 4 Pygmy goats, 2 Kittens and our newest recruits Snowball and Andie the hens.
We are very much looking forward to the future and would like to thank everyone that has supported us so far.
