The months are flying by and it’s already October. That means it will soon be January and the end of our 10 years here at the Globe and Rainbow!
Now don’t be sad, come and join us at one of our special evenings or book your Christmas party with us. If you do it now and pay your deposit before the 1st November your whole party will receive a 125ml glass of prosecco. Take a look at the Christmas Fayre menu on our website and book quickly.
As normal we’re also taking bookings for Christmas Day. However as a special Christmas treat from us to you… no menu! It will be just like unwrapping your gifts at home and I promise you won’t be disappointed. I look forward to your call.
Around the Globe
Our around the world tapas is still going strong and if you still haven’t managed to come to one you will have until December as our special nights will more than likely go on hold until January.

The alternate Thursdays (9th and 23rd)are Surf or Turf night. 2 people and a bottle of wine for £28! Book now to avoid disappointment.
Kilndown Fireworks Display
Once again we have been asked by the village to hold a fireworks display, of course we said yes (you can’t beat a good firework!). This years event is being held on Thursday 6th November.
Book Club
Those of you that follow us on Facebook (if you don’t please do!) will know we’ve started a book club. We had a good start but I know their are many more of you that like reading. Our second book is:
“Notes from an exhibition” by Patrick Gale.
We will be meeting on the 23rd October at 7pm.
Mushroom Walk
As if October wasn’t busy enough we’re also holding another of our popular mushroom walks. Arrive at 9.00 am on Saturday 11th October. £30 per person with lunch included. It’s a mushroom meze for fungi lovers.
