Primary school teachers have found our mini snail farms valuable in extending the children’s experience of caring for living things. You get 6 baby snails and everything you need to look after them: housing, bedding, food, care equipment and care instructions.
Mini snail farm trail aims to raise enough money from the public to give 50 free mini snail farms to selected schools where the children would benefit most from contact with living things. The crowd funding campaign to be launched on 22 September, aims to raise £3,000.00. If successful we want to commission teaching materials too.
